About

I help organizations, scientists, researchers better communicate science to a diversity of audiences, whether it be other scientists, policy-makers or the general public.

I have a science and fine arts background (BFA, BSc, MSc), and I’m an experienced bilingual writer, communicator and graphic designer — a powerful combination for science communication. I can at once understand the science, write about it clearly and create professional designs to visually represent concepts in various formats.

I was previously Director of Communications in the health sector. Before this, I managed communications for a renewable energy research network.

I have my own science communication consulting business. I’m available for freelance graphic design, illustration, web design, science writing, policy briefs, translation (French – English) and all types of science communication work.

If you’re interested in my services, check out my new website for my portfolio, CV and samples of my science writing.

What I do

what I do

My blog

In my blog, I write in-depth articles about topics I’m interested in. Oftentimes, I dig into the history of science, philosophy, psychology and religion. Sometimes, I’ll review a show I recently saw, a musician I’ve been listening to or a book that I just read that has had an impact on my life. I also have written many articles on some useful parenting “lifehacks” I’ve come across in my experience as a single parent.

Feel free to comment on the articles in the comment section.
